Short description of the “Givers-movement“
In a world with too many abitrary and egoistical quarreling the „Givers-movement“ wants to build up a „bridge of consensus and unification“, which is capable of bearing. Then we human beings together can take the responsibility for the world trusted to us.
We ”Givers“ don’t claim “ideologically“ or like a “sect” to have a complete answer for every question. We only modestly try to offer some simple basic truths as a “consensus- or unification-denominator” (“as much as necessary, as few as possible”).
This “consensus- or unification-denominator” shall only constitute a bearing base in order to go on then with the search for truth together with you (and all people).
How do we define the “smallest necessary unification-denominator“?
We “Givers” are dreaming of a “non-violent world-revolution of love“.
You can also call it a “big metamorphosis of humanity“ – like a caterpillar becomes a butterfly – or a “globalization of responsibility”:
Deep in our conscience we can realize, that we are in a living-connection with all the surrounding world. We can identify ourselves with the whole world and feel responsible for it (like a healthy cell in the world-organism)…
For that reason (so that the “right of the (outside) stronger one” stops), we want to learn such a loving way, how to treat our fellow human beings, that we can also together treat the surrounding world loving and responsibly.

And what do you think: How “radical” and ready to make sacrifices then someone must begin to give or donate, if one wants to convert humanity to love?!

Steps of joining in?
In our “Giver-movement” “all possible” different steps of (practical) consequence and external life-standard can be lived (for example from “normal” homes with electricity and running water up to “earth-caves”).
Thus every (really) interested human being can find an “entrance” for joining in with us!
The most important steps are:
The “(existential) Givers”, who claim to live on principle, in theory and praxis, the “Givers-ideals”; who left the state- and money-system; who make decisions in form of the so called “rooted consensus” and so on…
The “Givers-allies”, who agree theoretically with the “Givers-ideals” (but with total liberty, how many practical consequences they want to draw); who have founded for example the non-profit “Association for Promotion of Gifts (APG)”.
For people, who do not directly want to become members of the “Givers-movement”, it is possible for example to become “Givers-sympathizers”, who have appreciable accordances with the “Givers-movement”; or such people can take part in some “new networking-experiments”, which we suggest. These experiments shall on the one hand be very open, but on the other hand they shall also be very effective – and, like all our initiatives, they are focussed on “love as a healing way for the world”.

“Brave New World”
Next door to the „House of Hospitality“ (short HoH) begins the territory of the „Brave New World“. Here live the “Givers-allies”, members of the “Association for Promotion of Gifts (APG)” and people, who are close to the “Givers-movement”, and indigent people, who have managed to get out of their addiction-desease or at least seriously intend to do that.
The „Brave New World“ shall partly help the “spiritual-therapy” work, but also tries to be a model for a natural way of life as close to the „Givers-ideals” as possible.
Like in the “Peace-Garden”, here we are also striving for self-sufficiency. The “legal owner” of the „Brave New World“ is the APG („Association for the Promotion of Giving/Gifts“, a non-profit-organization) and the responsible person is Matthias.

The “Association for Promotion of Gifts (APG)”
Acting out of love and responsibility
The “Association for Promotion of Gifts” wants to help, that the people learn again to share gifts with each other in love instead of damaging competition and destroying ourselves and our environment step by step by violent relationships.
The APG supports the small group of people, who only share gifts with others – the so-called “(existential) Givers”.
A special focus of the association is the publicity-work and the creation (or “liberation”) of free spaces for projects “outside the system”.
The “(existential) Givers” show by a consequent life in responsibility and love, that “sharing gifts as a way of life” is possible.
The relationship between the association-members and the “(existential) Givers” is described in so called “conscience-declarations”.
Activities of the association
Publicity- and education-work in workshops, information-stalls and practical illustration-models.
Social work by supporting and building up projects, which unconditionally welcome people in need and care for them without making stipulations.
Cultivation of nature and landscape by creation of “natural living spaces” for plants, animals and human beings, by promotion of “natural economic forms”, natural farming, protection of threatened species and so on.
Work for communication and harmony between nations by theoretical and practical peace-research, workshops, discussions, community-experiments, exchange with other nations, cultures and communities and by common actions.

The “House of Hospitality”
In the “House of Hospitality” everybody is welcome. We also offer home and support for addicted and mentally ill people.

That’s why the „House of Hospitality“ as well as the surrounding territory of the “Association for Promotion of Gifts” shall be a drug-free area. In the „House of Hospitality“, „Moni“ and „Oeff!Oeff!“ are the responsible hosts.
The “House of Hospitality” might be unique in Europe concerning its radicalism to welcome “guests” unconditionally. In our community, really everybody can come and will be welcome.
On the other hand, the life conditions in the “House of Hospitality” also perhaps might be as unique as the “welcoming conditions”. In the sense of Mahatma Gandhi:“I would like to insist on the view, that asceticism is the greatest of all arts. What else can “art” mean than to create beauty in simplicity, and what else is asceticism than the highest manifestation of simple beauty in the daily life, without artificiality and “show”? That’s why I’m always saying, that a real ascetic does not only practice art but lives it …”

… the life-conditions are very simple. There is neither electricity nor running water. They heat with wood, mostly provided and chopped by the “guests” themselves. The rooms are often built with most simple means by former inhabitants.
The hosts of the project practice the simplicity – Oeffi for example is living in a self-built earth-cave – and are striving for a healthy fundamental supplying of all “guests”.
So, for example, they prefer a healthy nutrition (a raw food, understood mainly in agreement with Franz Konz) to a “nutrition by leftovers” – so called “containering”.
Nevertheless, in harmony with the meaning of our “non-violent world-revolution”, we never force anybody to practice a special way of nutrition.
All in all, we want to offer the biggest freedom, which is possible, while inviting to obedience for the “smallest possible necessary unification- or consensus-denominator” (“necessary” for a globally responsible way of life…).
We like it, if there is a lot of “self-management” of our “guests”, because they often have a lack of a positive and conscientious motivation, caused by their symptoms of illness.
Who ever wants to become a “guest” in the House of Hospitality, actually as equipment needs nothing but tolerance, patience, some spirit of adventure and curiosity.
(Well, a sleeping-back and perhaps also a pocket-lamp wouldn’t be so bad! ;-))

The “Peace-Garden”
In the “Peace-Garden” we want to live as “natural human beings” as simple and natural as possible. As our human knowledge, compared to the intelligence in this “world-creation”, is very little, we try to interfere with the natural life-processes as few as possible.
We are nourishing ourselves almost exclusively by domestic vegetarian raw food (for example apples, nuts, wild herbs) which we collect from the garden and the surroundings.
Our vision is the natural landscape-picture of a wild garden, where we human beings let the nature give her gifts to us, and where we only interfere with it in the meaning of a cautious wild-gardener.
We want to work with our hands for those things, which nature does not directly grant us. In any case, the satisfaction of our needs (food, health, clothing and home) must not require any injustice, neither direct nor indirect.
In our house, there is neither electricity nor warm water. The water comes from a “forgotten” water-pipeline from an old well and from the rain-barrel. We heat with wood.
The house, in which we live, is a centuries old delapidated framework-house. Moreover, there is a self-built felt-tent in the garden.
In the “Peace-Garden”, Uwe and Sefi live as responsible hosts. Everybody, who is interested and keeps certain rules, is welcome to visit the “Peace-Garden”.
Visitors should adjust themselves to most simple conditions. They should be ready to renounce on industrial products and semi-luxurys during their staying in the “Peace-Garden”.
We don’t want any alcoholic beverages, no consciousness-changing drugs, no tobacco and no dogs with us.
Who wants to stay longer, should identify himself with the ideals and visions of the “Givers-movement” in each case. We also would appreciate the help at the necessary work.

A more detailed description of the project „Brave New World“ in S…:
“Brave New World” in S…
On the ground “nature-park of A. in S…” we’re building up a new small community with the topics “simply living, possibly without money” and “self-sufficiency”. In the community shall live at maximum 10 persons in long-term future.
Similar to the “Peace-Garden” (the “(existential) Givers` self-sufficiency project) we also want to live there as “nature-people” possibly simply and naturally. In difference to the “Peace-Garden”, in the “Brave New World” in S… there are no restrictions concerning nutrition of cooked food or animal-based food.
At present there are two people, who’re building up the project and are responsible for that (Hardy and Frieden). The project is supported by the “Givers-movement” and is a “Giver-allies‘ project”. Everybody sharing our essential values and our conception, keeping some basic rules and feeling responsible to help at the work is welcome.
We want to welcome all guests, who want it, free of charge and free of obligation to work for a period of 40 days. In the community there shall be a general prohibition of smoking, alcoholic bevereges and drugs. After a testing period of at least 6 months, the community will decide about establishing new members.
Home
We want to live in simple homes, for example in simple caravans (we want to rebuild the both existing caravans) as well as earth-huts, tents or small clay-huts.
For designing suitable homes, creativity and inventiveness are welcome.As much as possible, we want to become able to build up our homes with possibly few expense and possibly without any money. They shall be in harmony with the nature and environment and shall be made out of natural as well as environmentally peasable recyclable material.
For the storing of food we want to build up one or more earth-caves. Those have the advantage that they warm during the winter-period and cool during the summer-period – without any additional energy-consumption.
Water-supply
We want to take our washing-water from the pool at our ground and take our drinking water from the nearby brook. In further future, an additional rain-water collecting system is planned.
Food-supply
We want to integrate the surrounding wild plants (fruit-trees and shrubs on the roads, wild herbs, forest-fruits) into our nutrition.
On the area of the “Brave New World” we’ll plant fruit-trees and shrubs and grow vegetables and perhaps corn for the self-sufficiency. Doing that, we won’t use any artificial fertilizer, chemicals or pesticides.
We’re applying for keeping alive old cultivated plants, for example by own planting and breeding.
We realize that, in the first years, we have to do plenty of preparing work and likely we’ll harvest rather few. During this transition-period, but also later on, as an addition to the food-supply, we want ot use leftovers and rubbish from the industrial society (for example date-expired food from supermarkets and unsellable fruits from the nearby farms).
For longterm, we also want to keep animals – among others old farm-animal-races threatened by dying-out – , for example bees, but perhaps also chickens, sheep or goats as far as there’s enough space for it.
Waste-disposal
As far as it’s possible for us, we want to avoid rubbish respectively only generate such rubbish, which can be given back to the nature without any scruple.
Property-relations
We personally don’t want to possess any ground, because for us the earth is holy and we don’t have the right to buy it nor to sell it.
At present, the ground for our community-project is given to us for use by the “legal owner” for two years. After that we want to meet once again and talk about a long-term use.

„Painfulness week“ may 2004 in Halle
In oktober 2003, the idea for a “painfulness week” as a new imaginative form of publicity-work on the streets was born. This time, the main issue should be the reforms of the employment-market, called “Hartz IV”, the “globalization” and the privatization of public space. According to the motto “Each day a new painfulness”, the activists planned some actions.
The sense of the “painfulness week” is to represent actual issues in a way, that it gets more than clear, where the development of our society is running.
In may 2004 finally, it was starting: In Halle, 10 people met for the first “painfulness week”. They went with a “slave-caravan” through the city, across the shopping-malls, the university and the job-center.
The “slaves” were chained together and wore sign-boards: “Accept every job”, “Who doesn’t want to work, also shall not eat” or “Here could be your advertisement”.
The “slave-driver” (“ICH-AG slave-transport” *1)) offered the “slaves” for one Euro per day (“cleaning slaves, transport-slaves, telephone-slaves and especially for students: copy-slaves…, only one Euro per day – prices like in Pakistan…”). The future belongs to the slavery. As there are less and less jobs and more and more unemployed ones, it is only a question of time, when the workers and the staff don’t work anymore for one Euro per hour but for nothing (they even should be glad to have a job).

One more action was “ICH-AG nose-cleaning by experts”: armed with a big handkerchief, two comrades offered their service to the people on the street and in front of the job center.
As, especially in the former G.D.R. (German Democratic Republic), many people constantly are complaining, “how bad they’re still living”, we built a mobile lamenting-wall. There, everybody, who wanted, could write down his or her laments (above all, if he or she only laments, but doesn’t want to do anything himself or herself.
A special gag was the “Osama Bin Laden hatred-exercise”. In front of a big picture of the notorious public enemy, the painfulness-group gathered itself every full hour. Then they insulted and spat at the picture.
Also concerning the issue of the privatization of the public space, the painfulness-experts had something to offer:
The test-barring of the Peissnitz (that is a big city-park in Halle): They built up a barricade at the main entrance to the Peissnitz. There was a park-regulation and a price-list.
Everybody, who came and wanted to enter the Peissnitz, was given the “information”, that the municipality of Halle didn’t have any more money, and that for this reason they would want to sell Peissnitz to a private investor. After privatization, visiting the park simply would cost an entrance-fee, because the private investor naturally wants to make money. On the other hand, then the paths always would be well cultivated, no suspicious guys and no dogs would be running around anymore… Some people were shocked (“They cannot do that, yet…”). There were also people, who agreed with that (“Well, if then it will become more clean and proper, I’ll be ready to pay for it, too…”).
During the last day, we then went collecting money for the rich people.
We asked everybody, who passed, if he would like to donate some money for the rich people. We showed them a list of people, to whom then the money would be given (that was the “salary list of the better earning ones” from the BILD newspaper (boulevard press in Germany), a.o. with Michael Schumacher, Josef Ackermann /”Deutsche Bank” and others). We were threatening the hesitating donators: “If you don’t want to give anything, then we can also take us the money otherwise … for example via the financial authority…”). But other people, who were (still) rich (or looked like that), got something donated from the donated money.
All in all, the “painfulness-week” in Halle was very successful. The reactions to it were very different (“You’re still foolish…”, “Why don’t you go working…”, “That’s great…”, “Just a good action…”). Martin Baatzsch, an expert for publicity work in Halle, afterwards said: “The best action, which has ever happened in Halle”:
Because it was so beautiful, there was a continuation in september in Leipzig. This time a little smaller and with less people.
This year, a new painfulness-week is planned, this time with new ideas.
*1) – “ICH-AG” is a German description for a small company consisting only of one person – a kind of fraud of the people, pretending it is a great business.

Présentation generale du „mouvement des donateurs“
1re Nous croyons, qu’un monde just est possible, dans lequel tous les êtres humains sont heureux.
Pour cette raison nous voulons :
– suivre à notre conscience ;
– d’abord voir le bien dans les autres hommes et les rencontrer avec amour ;
– être franc et sincère ;
– partager inconditionnellement avec les indigents ;
– être responsable pour la santé et pour la guérison du monde entier ;
– nous engager non-violentement pour la justice.
Arriver à ses fins violentement ne montre pas, qu’on a raison – à part cela, un tel comportement n’appartient pas moralement à nous. Le combat de concurrence suivant au principe du rendement, est aussi une façon de la violence, par laquelle les plus forts oppriment les plus faibles. Pour cette raison nous voulons renoncer aussi à cela. Nous ne pouvons changer la société, que si les êtres humains particuliers changent. Mais d’abord nous devons changer nous-mêmes.
Nous invitons tous á prendre part.

2nd Chacun/chacune est libre de lui-même/elle-même décider, comment loin il/elle veut réaliser les principes susdits. Face à la réalité actuelle (les guerres, la faime, la misère, la biodégradation, l’injustice sur l’un côté – l’abondance, le luxe, l’ignorance, « pain et jeus » sur l’autre côté), nous sommes d’accord, qu’on ne peut pas être assez conséquent dans l’amour, la véricité, le partage inconditionné, la simplification de la vie personnelle, la responsabilité et l’engagement personnel non-violent pour la justice.
Chacun/chacune, qui s’identifie avec les principes susdits, peut se considérer comme un « donateur ».
Qui a émancipé les bases de sa vie essentiellement des systèmes de l’État, de l’argent, de la violence et du décompte, et qui est prêt à se charger de toutes les souffrances et même à sacrifier la vie personnelle pour réaliser ces principes susdits – peut se compter au groupe fondamental des « donateurs », aux « donateurs existentiels ».
Qui n’est pas ou pas encore prêt pour cela, mais qui estd’accord en théorie avec les principes dénommés sous 1re , appartient au groupe plus modéré des « alliés des donateurs ».
Les « donateurs existentiels » entre eux décident unanimement surdes questions quants à la signification des idéaux.
Concernant des affairs pratiques, qui regardent les projets des « donateurs existentiels », les « donateurs existentiels » entre eux décident unanimement et négocient des conventions libres avec les « alliés des donateurs ».
Nous voulons examiner tous les domaines de notre vie, si nous réellement vivons conformément aux principes dénommés sous 1re.

3e Concrètement, ça veut dire : d’abord nous essayons d’organiser notre mouvement en trois modes d’existence :-Les « pèlerins », qui vivent dans les rues en pauvreté volontaire pour inviter les êtres humains à changer leurs vies et à vivre ensemble avec nous conformément aux principes dénommés sous 1re (existe depuis 1991).-Les « maisons d’hospitalité », où nous partageons inconditionnellement notre vie avec les pauvres et avec les êtres humains difficils et indigents. Nous n’avons pas de propriété privée des terrains ou des immeubles, mais seulement les utilisons conformément aux «droits d’usage morals ». C’est-à-dire, nous ne les avons ni achetés ni conclu des contrats exigibles (existe depuis 1994 ; regarde à la description du projet).- Les communautés de vie autarciques, où nous voulons créer des maquettes d’une vie simple et naturelle : comme des êtres humains, qui veulent se traiter affectueusement, partagent fraternellement, decident paritairement et unanimement et traitent aussi l’autre nature le plus précautionneusement et doucement possible. Nous nous considérons comme un organe de la nature. « Autarcie » ne signifie pas pour nous une culture séparée de 100%, mais un train de vie, qui n’a pas besoins de torts – pas non plus de torts contre la nature. Nous cherchons une manière d’alimentation et de santé, qui sert à la nature, aux plants et aux animaux au lieu de tuer et de léser (existe depuis 1998 ; regarde à la description du projet).
